RACI is a popular project management framework used to define roles and responsibilities in a project or process. The acronym stands for:

  1. Responsible: The person or people who actually complete the task. They are responsible for getting the work done.
  2. Accountable: The person who is ultimately answerable for the task's completion and has the authority to make decisions. There is typically only one accountable person per task.
  3. Consulted: People who provide input based on their expertise and opinions. These are typically subject-matter experts and key stakeholders whose feedback is crucial.
  4. Informed: People who need to be kept up to date on progress and decisions but do not need to be consulted or take action.

This framework helps clarify who is doing what, avoids overlapping responsibilities, and ensures that everyone is aligned.
