The journal

I got lost in a laneway off Flinders Lane looking for coffee and found a mural being painted in real time, the artist balanced on a milk crate, ignoring the lunch crowd stepping around his cans. I ended up watching longer than I spent at the espresso bar I'd originally been chasing.
