The journal

Santa Marta smelled of salt and ripe mango from the moment I stepped off the bus. I hired a fisherman to take me toward Tayrona, and halfway there he cut the motor to point out a pod of dolphins, grinning like it was his first time seeing them too, though he swore it wasn't.
