A woman ladled pozole for me at a stall near Coyoacán without asking what I wanted, certain I'd like it, and she was right. I spent an afternoon getting pleasantly lost in the Roma Norte jacaranda shade, purple petals collecting on café tables like confetti nobody swept away.
