The journal

Elephant seals wallowed at the tideline, bellowing over territory they'd claim for weeks. Behind them, glaciers hung above a bay so still it doubled the mountains. I'd been told this cove was the most beautiful in South Georgia and I arrived skeptical; I left without an argument left to make.
