The journal

The light in June barely dims, and I found myself awake at midnight photographing a mural simply because it was still bright enough to. A café owner near Laugavegur talked me through her coffee's origin with more precision than most sommeliers give wine. Reykjavik felt small in the best sense — walkable, unguarded, direct.
