Chefchaouen

Blue-painted mountains, Rif tranquility, photogenic streets

The journal

Every wall in Chefchaouen seemed painted a slightly different blue, as though the town had argued with itself over the exact shade and never settled it. I spent a morning just wandering the stepped alleys with no destination, stopping when a cat blocked my path or a doorway looked worth photographing.
