The journal

Fog rolled through the coffee farm every afternoon around four, right on schedule, swallowing the ridgeline mid-sentence during the farmer's explanation of shade-grown beans. He didn't pause for it, just kept talking into the white. I bought a bag of his gesha roast still warm from that morning's batch.
