The journal

A tuk-tuk driver took a wrong turn that became the right one, dropping me at a canal-side noodle stall I never could find again on later trips. I ate there alone, sweating through my shirt, while temple bells rang somewhere behind the traffic. Bangkok rewards a willingness to get slightly lost.
