How does the India-ASEAN FTA work?
India-ASEAN AIFTA (in force 2010) provides preferential tariff rates between India and 10 ASEAN nations. India exporters to ASEAN pay reduced or zero duty on goods meeting 35% ASEAN/India regional value content. The FTA covers goods; a separate services agreement covers IT and professional services.
