Submitting a mandate to AJG is straightforward. Here is exactly what to prepare and what the process looks like after submission.
For a seller mandate (Indian exporter seeking EU buyer): (1) Product name and HS code; (2) Product specification — grade, purity, certifications held; (3) Quantity available and frequency; (4) Preferred Incoterm; (5) Target markets or countries; (6) Price range (FOB or CIF) — a range is fine; (7) Lead time from order to delivery; (8) Certifications held; (9) Preferred payment terms; (10) Any existing EU buyer relationships for context.
For a buyer mandate (seeking Indian supplier): (1) Product required — exact specification, grade, quality standards; (2) Quantity required and frequency; (3) Required certifications from supplier; (4) Payment terms you will offer; (5) Preferred Incoterm; (6) Target price range or budget; (7) Timeline for first delivery.
After submission: AJG reviews the mandate within 5 working days. If commercially viable, AJG sends a mandate acceptance acknowledgement and a proposed mandate agreement for signature. After signature, AJG begins counterparty identification.
Typical timelines to first introduction: Commodity agro-food: 15-30 days. Manufactured goods: 30-60 days. Pharma/regulatory-intensive: 60-90 days (qualification requirements extend the timeline). Capital goods: 30-45 days.
Submit your mandate at mandate-submit.php. Commission-only. No upfront cost. Both principals represented.
